Privacy Policy

Last updated 2026-10-22

This policy explains what personal information the SoCal Cane Corso Co. store collects, why it is collected and who receives it.

Who we are

The store is operated by Collin Riley Weatherford, doing business as SOCALCANECORSO. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean that business. You can reach us using the contact details shown on this page.

Summary

  • We collect only what we need to take an order, make it, ship it and answer you.
  • The store has no customer accounts and keeps no customer database of its own. Stripe holds the order record.
  • We never see or store full card numbers. Payment happens on a page hosted by Stripe.
  • This site uses no analytics and no advertising cookies. The only third-party script is Cloudflare Turnstile on the waitlist and Collective forms.
  • We do not sell personal information, and we do not pass it to anyone for their own advertising.

Information you give when you order

Checkout takes place on a page hosted by Stripe. On that page you provide:

  • Your name and email address.
  • Your phone number, which the carrier may use for delivery.
  • Your shipping address.
  • Your payment details, which go to Stripe only.
  • Any billing details Stripe asks for to process the payment and calculate tax.

Once payment succeeds, we read your name, email address, phone number, shipping address, the items ordered and the shipping method you chose from Stripe. We send those details to Printful, which makes and ships the order.

We add short status notes to the payment record in Stripe. They record whether the order reached Printful, whether the confirmation email was sent and which tracking numbers we have already emailed to you.

Information you give when you join the waitlist

If you join the waitlist, we send one email with a confirmation link. The link expires after 48 hours. Your email address is added to the waitlist only after you follow that link. If you do not confirm, it is not added.

The waitlist is stored by Resend, our email provider. There is one list for the whole store. We use it only to tell you when the store opens and when each new piece opens.

Every waitlist email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes you from the list at once. You can also ask to be removed using the contact details shown on this page. We remove you within 7 days.

Information you give when you apply to the Collective

The artist application form asks for your name, email address, a link to your portfolio, your medium and an optional message. The form does not accept file uploads.

The application is sent to our inbox by email through Resend. The site does not store it anywhere else. We use it only to review your application and reply to you.

Information collected automatically

  • IP address for rate limiting. When you request shipping rates, start checkout, join the waitlist or send a Collective application, we use your IP address to count requests and block abuse. Cloudflare holds these counters. The counting window is one minute.
  • Server logs. Cloudflare, our hosting provider, processes your IP address and basic request details, such as browser type and the page requested, to deliver and protect the site.
  • Shipping country. The country you select in the cart is sent to Printful with the cart items to get shipping rates.

Spam protection. The waitlist and Collective forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from bots. Turnstile runs a check in your browser, and we send the result and your IP address to Cloudflare to verify it; it does not set advertising cookies.

Cookies and browser storage

This site does not set analytics or advertising cookies.

Your cart is saved in your browser's local storage on your own device, so it survives a page reload. It holds the product, the size or variant and the quantity, and no personal information. It is sent to us only when you ask for shipping rates or start checkout, you can remove any item with the Remove button, and it is cleared after a completed order.

Stripe's checkout page is a separate site. Stripe may use its own cookies there to process payments and prevent fraud, under Stripe's privacy policy.

How we use information

  • To take payment, calculate tax, make the order and ship it.
  • To send the order received email and the shipping update email with tracking.
  • To contact you about a problem with your order, such as an address that cannot be delivered to.
  • To send the waitlist confirmation email and the opening notices, if you joined the waitlist.
  • To review and answer Collective applications.
  • To protect the site from abuse and fraud.
  • To keep the tax and accounting records the law requires.

For visitors in the European Union and the United Kingdom, these are the legal reasons we rely on:

  • Taking, making, shipping and supporting your order: performing our contract with you.
  • The waitlist: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by unsubscribing.
  • Reviewing Collective applications and protecting the site from abuse and fraud: our legitimate interest in running the store safely.
  • Tax and accounting records: our legal obligations.

Who receives your information

We share personal information only with the service providers that run the store:

  • Stripe: payment processing, tax calculation, fraud prevention and the order record.
  • Printful: production and shipping. Printful passes delivery details to the carrier.
  • Resend: delivery of our emails and storage of the waitlist.
  • Cloudflare: website hosting, rate limiting by IP address and spam protection (Turnstile).

Each provider handles information under its own terms and privacy policy. We may also disclose information when the law requires it.

International transfers

Our providers operate in the United States and other countries. Your information may be processed outside the country where you live.

For information from the European Union and the United Kingdom, our providers rely on safeguards approved for these transfers, such as the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and its UK extension, or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep information

  • Order records in Stripe: 7 years, as tax law requires.
  • Order details held by Printful: Printful keeps fulfilled orders in its own system, under its own privacy policy. If you ask us, we ask Printful to delete your order.
  • Collective applications in our inbox: applications we do not accept are deleted 12 months after they arrive.
  • Waitlist: until you unsubscribe or ask to be removed, and no longer than 90 days after the store opens.
  • Rate-limit counters: they expire shortly after the one-minute counting window ends.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask for a copy of your personal information, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict its use, and to complain to a data protection authority.

To make a request, use the contact details shown on this page. We may need to confirm your identity first. We reply within 30 days.

If you live in the European Union or the United Kingdom, the GDPR or the UK GDPR gives you these rights, and you can complain to the data protection authority where you live.

Children

The store is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.

Security

The site is served over an encrypted connection, and payment details are entered only on Stripe's page. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee security.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version.
